Material Handling Laborer

ASO is seeking a Material Handling Laborer to work in Ft. Cavazos, TX.

Responsibilities

Perform physical tasks to transport or store materials or merchandise.

Duties involve one or more of the following:

Manually loading or unloading freight cars, trucks, or other transporting devices.

Unpacking, shelving, or placing items in proper storage locations.

Transporting goods by hand truck, cart, or wheelbarrow.

Qualifications

Knowledgeable in U.S. Army logistics procedures.

Ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.

High school diploma/equivalent.

Ability to receive a favorable TIER 1 investigation and obtain/maintain a CAC.

Desired Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in material handling.

Valid Driver’s License.

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.

Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
