This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Applicant must be eligible to work in the US for immediate opening.  For this opportunity, the successful candidate will be directly employed by Bartech Staffing as a W2 employee while providing services to our end client.

Job Responsibilities                                              
Your specific duties as a Material Handling Supervisor will include:  Compensation (Range):  $26 - $29/ hour Supervise UAW employees in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Daily duties include supervise the processing of all inbound material for putaway, ensuring the processing of all outbound orders for deliveries based on dock due time. Supervisor must be able to work unsupervised and be able to multitask while not only completing each days goal, but increasing performance and maintaining a safe working environment. Building is a "Super Shift" meaning 1pm- 9:30pm with inbound the first part of the day and outbound the second. Supervisor should have warehousing experience, as well as prior experience supervising UAW employees.

Job Requirements
As a Material Handling Supervisor you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities.  It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Warehouse 101, self starter, multitasking, ability to deliver results, proven leadership under pressure. Prior supervision of UAW employees, understanding of lean concepts. Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent, Education Preferred: Bachelors Degree
