As a Material Planner your role is essential to sustaining food supply for future generations through the development of a raw material and packaging supply strategy to support production requirements. You will partner with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to establish resiliency plans, plan for materials supply ensuring proper visibility of the requirements and constraints, oversee the operations and lead the implementation of projects and initiatives that are key to the successful execution of the strategy.
Your everyday actions allow us to ensure a reliable supply of crop protection products for our farmers ultimately enabling good food on your plate.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Work cross-functionally to build, maintain, communicate, and execute raw material and packaging inventory strategy for region
+ Will be responsible for supply/demand balance for materials across multiple manufacturing sites
+ Will be accountable for determining and maintaining accurate master data for raw materials
+ Partner with procurement, R&D, and regulatory to develop resiliency plans for single sourced co-formulants and packaging material for region.
+ Provide accurate raw material forecasts, monitor supplier performance, and determine improvement opportunities with vendors
+ Provide input to global teams on active ingredient (Tech) requirements and constraints, manage imports, and Tech over label for the region and/or North America
+ Will be responsible for the inventory accuracy and health of raw materials and packaging, providing direction for slow moving or expired materials
+ Recommend volume split for allocated regional raw materials
+ Serve as escalation point and crisis management support for any unresolved short-term raw material supply exceptions
+ Will be accountable for performance to support the production plan at each regional manufacturing site.
+ Participate and/or lead supply chain projects within material planning scope of work
**What Skills You Need:**
+ BS/BA in Supply Chain, Business Management, Sciences or Engineering, Procurement, or other supply related field and/or 5 years equivalent supply chain experience.
+ Understanding of fundamental supply chain principles and concepts through education, professional training or on-the-job experience is highly preferred
+ Technical proficiency in the use of multiple computer applications and sound analytical skills are necessary
+ Experience with MRP and/or IBP is valued
+ Continuous improvement and project management mindset
