Material Planner
**Overview:** We are seeking a Material Planning Contract Support professional to join our client’s North American Toll Manufacturing Group. This role is essential for executing material planning and managing master data updates, ensuring timely ordering and delivery of materials to support operational needs. **Major Responsibilities:** + Collaborate with the Global Procurement Service Center (GPSC) to process updates in SAP to meet site requirements. + Provide support for resolving Accounts Payable issues through SAP FIORI. + Create purchase requisitions for material planning and track the delivery progression of materials to support production schedules. + Develop and review outline agreements (contracts), information records, and source lists in SAP for the region's plants, ensuring accurate pricing and commercial terms. + Liaise with suppliers to resolve local supply issues, monitor vendor reliability and performance, and assess product/material/service quality. + Analyze supplier performance data and assist in implementing improvements at the local level. + Reconcile pending invoices, addressing price discrepancies and notifying the Category Manager as necessary. + Review daily Supply Chain Health Metrics and assist in resolving outstanding issues. + Ensure proper execution of orders and transactions, maintaining accurate data entry and follow-up reporting. + Implement master data processes to maintain data accuracy. + Support relevant site quality systems, including RCMS/Safety Systems and other applicable management systems. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field preferred, or 2-3 years of relevant experience in Material Planning. **Experience:** + Minimum 2-3 years of general experience in the manufacturing or chemicals industry preferred. + At least 2 years of experience in supply chain, planning, operations, or procurement. + Proficient in spoken and written English. + Strong experience with SAP systems is **essential.** **Skills and Attributes:** + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. + Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. + Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
