JOB SUMMARY: We seek a highly analytical Material Planner & Buyer to manage end-to-end material planning, procurement, and supply chain improvement initiatives. This role requires strong ERP experience (IQMS preferred), problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks. The ideal candidate will excel in data analysis, supplier negotiation, and inventory management, focusing on optimizing pricing and terms. This position will also support other sites in supply chain improvement activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Planning & Procurement: Manage raw material planning and procurement to ensure on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels based on forecast, demand variation, and lead times. Place and track purchase orders, resolving any supplier issues proactively. Negotiate with suppliers to improve pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. Conduct market analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities. ERP & Data Analysis: Utilize ERP systems (IQMS preferred) to manage purchasing and material planning. Develop Excel-based reports, dashboards, and executive-level graphs (including VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables, and basic VBA coding is a plus). Analyze data to improve forecasting accuracy and inventory efficiency. Cross-Site Supply Chain Support: Collaborate with other Revere Plastics sites to drive supply chain improvement projects. Assist in standardizing procurement processes and reducing material costs across locations. Support cycle count and inventory accuracy initiatives.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

3+ years of experience in material planning, procurement, or supply chain management.BS/BA in a Business or engineering-related fieldStrong ERP skills (IQMS preferred) and advanced Excel proficiency.Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with a strong problem-solving mindset.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication and negotiation skills for supplier management.Experience with forecasting, MRP, and inventory management best practices.
