The Tyvek® Garment’s business has an opportunity for a Material Planner / Distribution Requirements Planner.  The role is based in Contern, Luxembourg.

The Tyvek® business is part of the Water and Protection business unit serving customers and applications in Healthcare, Personal Protection (Tyvek Garments), Shelter and Consumer & Industrial. Delivering sustainable solutions that bring real purpose and value to our customers. The region realizes over 350$ MM sales revenue across all Tyvek® segments. 

The successful candidate will manage the flow of product from our convertor network to the EMEA warehouses. They will play a key role in the logistics network and working with our logistic and warehouse partners to improve the customer experience.

The successful candidate will quickly grasp the complexity and length of our unique supply chains within DuPont.  Be able to communicate & collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Product Management and Demand.  It is a position that requires a high degree of flexibility & tenacity especially given the current logistics market.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Responsible for planning 2 convertors in Eastern Europe.

Aligning detailed production plans to capacity allocation of factories.

Responsible for managing inventory across EMEA warehouses.

Communicate the distribution requirements to the central distribution warehouse.

Co-ordinating cross regional requirements for production within EMEA convertor network.

Works with logistics specialists to ensure logistics capabilities align with supply plan.  Both transportation and warehousing and works with the Master Scheduler to resolve any potential gaps.

Ability to forecast container needs of the business to support continued flow of product in and out of EMEA.

Working closely with logistic partners to understand challenges in logistics and the impact on our supply chain.

Maintaining inventory accuracy at convertor locations.

Responsible for Inventory accuracy within Garments EMEA warehouses.

Support logistics aspects of supply chain projects within region

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree ideally with a focus on supply chain / logistics or a comparable qualification

Ideally 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing company, ideally in the area of ​​Supply Chain or logistics.

APICS certification (may be obtained on the job),

SAP or equivalent ERP knowledge is an advantage

Strong user and analytical skills in MS Excel

Six Sigma Green Belt certification (may be obtained on the job)

Ability to interact at multiple levels within an organisation.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong desire to exceed results, taking initiative, overcoming obstacles, and finding creative solutions

Self-starter, collaborator and a consistent demonstrated behavior of being highly motivated

Languages

Fluent or business level English is required

French and/or German are required
