As a Material Planner you will be responsible for developing a production schedule to allow for optimal plant efficiency to meet customerrequirements as well as for the coordination of raw material and packaging needs including establishing safety stocks,providing forecasts, and managing inventories. You will also monitor supply chain key performance indicators andfacilitate actions to improve metrics, identify and lead supply chain optimization projects. **As a Material Planner - RTP, NC, you create chemistry by...** + Planning, purchasing, ordering, and monitoring/expediting the delivery of raw materials and packaging components for contract manufacturing formulation and packaging sites. + Reconciling month-end physical inventories against SAP entries, verifying invoices for approval, and assisting in controlling raw material/packaging material deliveries and finished product production at third-party formulation and packaging/refill sites. + Monitoring and reporting on actual and planned raw material and packaging component deliveries and statuses, creating reports to track open orders, supplier confirmations, and delivery dates to ensure effective communication of order and delivery status. + Demonstrating knowledge of purchasing, receiving activities, and inventory control operations by converting internal active ingredient and raw material requirements into purchase orders for global internal and external suppliers. + Creating stock transfer orders to move raw materials and packaging components between warehouse locations and/or toll sites to support production, and generating delivery notes for these stock transfers. **If you...** + Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field. + Possess at least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Import Planning, and/or Operations positions. + Have knowledge of SAP/APO. + Exhibit computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and Excel. + Possess experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) programs. **Create your own chemistry with you@BASF** At BASF, you will have the chance to do meaningful work towards building a more sustainable future.
