Material Review Board Engineer - Spirit

A remote Material Review Board Engineer job with Belcan Engineering Group is currently available in Lynn, MA. This job is a full-time direct position. To be considered for this role, you will need Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. In this job your primary responsibility will be reviewing fuselage, nacelle, and pylon conditions and determining acceptability and/or repairability. You will be expected to train and mentor other engineers and facilitate timely MRB certification for yourself and others on the team.
Job Duties:
* Formulate, analyze, substantiate, and document dispositions for production non-conformances within the boundaries of Federal Aviation Regulations and OEM delegated requirements
* Liaison with other teams as required and interact with OEM customers
* Maintain strong communication with internal project team and customer
* Provides functional guidance to less experienced staff and act in a technical leadership capacity
* Helps solve problems that would affect cost, schedule, and performance
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
* 2 or more years of experience substantiating Material Review Boards and performing airframe analysis
to substantiate nonconforming conditions
* Understanding of structural load paths and failure modes
* Static and fatigue analysis experience
* Legal authorization to work in the US required
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
* Interpersonal skills and willingness to work in a team environment
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Mentoring experience
* Composite analysis experience
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $95,000 to $125,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
