Mueller Company (Mueller Co.), the nation's leading manufacturer of flow control devices for the water and gas distribution industries, has an opening for a Materials Specialist position based in our Cleveland, TN Facility.
The primary function of this position is responsible for delivering supplies and materials to necessary departments. Prepare materials for the next stage in process while maintaining inventory control and records.
Essential Functions:
Unloads, moves, and stores a variety of materials, parts, or products using standardized procedures. Moves materials between departments: follow routing or tickets to fill orders from storage, stock, or other departments. Must be able to identify, count (including weigh count), record, and keep like parts together.Prep materials for the next stage in process: place materials on pallets, trays, racks, etc., install strapping, bracing, or padding. Maintain inventory controls and records as defined in standard work utilizing MRP systems and devices.Perform Cycle counts and other related duties.Operate a power lift truck, hand truck, pallet jack, or other manual or powered devices.Wear the proper PPE for each task given.Perform other related duties as directed.Required

Education & Experience:
