Material Specialist

**Job Summary:**
Material Specialist is responsible for ensuring a smooth flow of materials and supplies to the production line. This role is essential for maintaining efficiency and minimizing downtime by promptly delivering necessary items to workstations.
**Responsibilities:**
**Material Handling:** Transport materials and supplies to and from the production line, ensuring all workstations have what they need to operate smoothly.
**Inventory Monitoring:** Keep track of inventory levels and report any shortages to the team.
**Coordination:** Work closely with production staff to understand their material needs and adjust deliveries accordingly.
**Support Production:** Assist with additional tasks, such as cycle counts and other inventory-related duties, as needed.
**Qualifications:**
**Education:** High school diploma or equivalent.
**Experience:** 1-3 years in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
**Physical Requirements:** Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods **.**
**Skills:** Strong organizational and communication skills, with basic math skills for inventory tracking.
**Safety Awareness:** Knowledge of workplace safety practices.
**Technical Proficiency:** Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems are a plus.

**Pay Details:** $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
