Job DescriptionIn this position, you will lead the overall Material Planning, Scheduling, and Inventory Control for all Larson Operations.
Key responsibilities include:
Material planning and scheduling production, purchasing, and inventory accuracy.Collaborate cross-functionally in the S&OP Process, optimizing service, Inventory, and operational costs.Drive Best in Class Service Performance and Working Capital Efficiency by defining inventory levels to support customer expectations, tracking key KPIs and leading Service discussions.Identify bottlenecks to achieve customer expectations and work with appropriate management to see that constraints are removed.Manage Planning Data and Processes to ensure proper demand and flow of finished goods, subassemblies, and raw materials.Backorder management and appropriate communication to Supply Chain Leadership, Sales and Customer Service.Oversee management and disposition of excess and obsolete inventory.Ensure appropriate data management, including new item setup and discontinued products.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field3-5 years of Supply Chain Experience, with 1-2 years of experience managing a Team.Demonstrated ability to coach and lead others.Strong problem-solving skills with a bias towards action, “business owner” mentality with an ability to influence others.Strong planning, problem solving, analytical skills and advanced Excel skills.Experience in change management.MRP/ERP experienceAbility to travel once per quarter or as business requires.Desired Qualifications:
APICS certification a plus.PeopleSoft or Oracle ERP systems experience. Demand-Driven Planning experience highly desired.Additional InformationFortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $81,000 - $146,000. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
