The Opportunity:
Saint Luke’s South Hospital in Overland Park, Kansas is seeking a Materials Associate to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for receiving product, delivering departmental supplies, stocking inventoried supplies, picking and staging supplies to fill par levels, managing out-dates, accurately and timely managing code carts, locating recalled items, and processing for return shipments. You will also maintain departmental orderliness, rotate stock, cycle count inventory, annual physical inventory, and all other duties assigned.
Shift Details:
20 hours per week
The Work:
· Must be able to lift 50 pounds, unload trucks, handle storeroom equipment
· Enters data in hospital Materials Management Information System
· Clean and disinfect medical equipment between patient use to assure it is ready for next patient use
· Assists with the daily movement of linen carts
· Able to operate a hand pallet jack
· Able to utilize various electronic devices for order taking
· May also be asked, from time to time, to work at other SLHS CS locations
We are seeking a Materials Associate with proficient math skills as well as great communication skills – written and oral. To be successful in this role you will need to be able to adapt to and become knowledgeable of numerous software applications.
Minimum starting rate of $17.50/hour
