**Job Title: Inventory Associate** **Job Description** Perform all required duties to maintain the inventory of the component parts stockroom. This involves receiving, identifying, sorting, issuing, and recording of purchased parts, finished machined parts, and parts in process. Properly identify, process, store, and record all incoming items. Work from releases to select parts and components for assembly. Issue materials in accordance with inventory release sheet and deliver to designated plant locations. Assist in packaging and shipping tasks. **Responsibilities** + Maintain the inventory of the component parts stockroom. + Receive, identify, sort, issue, and record purchased parts, finished machined parts, and parts in process. + Properly identify, process, store, and record all incoming items. + Work from releases to select parts and components for assembly. + Issue materials in accordance with inventory release sheet and deliver to designated plant locations. + Assist in packaging and shipping tasks. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma or GED + One (1) year minimum manufacturing experience + Computer skills + Excellent communication skills + Previous experience working in shipping, warehouse, etc. + Forklift experience + MRP system knowledge (Oracle and MFG/Pro preferred) + Comfort using computers, including Microsoft products + Use of ruler and square + Teamwork skills + Basic math and reading skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1-2+ years of experience with FedEx, UPS, or warehouse + Administrative/logistical experience + Well-organized + Good with computers + Great memory for details + Stockroom, warehouse, shipping experience **Why Work Here?** Join a world-class provider of mobile hydraulic and electrification products and solutions. The role is based on a 1st shift schedule, from 8am-5pm. The company has recently implemented a new SAP system, which requires strong administrative skills to manage inventory and logistics effectively. The work environment is dynamic and supportive, providing the necessary tools and technologies to excel in your role. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jackson, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
