Labcorp is recruiting a Warehouse Associate/Materials Control Worker for a dynamic team in Columbia, MD.
Position Summary:
Pick, QC, and pack shipments while aiding in inbound, outbound, and kitting/restocking operations using WMS.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist with daily UPS drop-off for inbound shipments. Transfer all packages from truck, stack, and transport to sorting area
Sort all inbound material using WMS on handheld device; restock or bring to kitting areas as needed
Pick and pack shipments daily using WMS on handheld device
Assist with kitting tasks as needed
Stock newly received inventory
Restock depleted pick locations with reserve inventory as needed or when directed
Conduct daily cycle counts using WMS on handheld device
Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Assist with larger-scale projects such as inventory re-orgs
Maintain clean and organized workspaces
Assist with other tasks as determined by warehouse management
Skills Required:
Organization and attention to detail
HS Diploma or equivalent
Ability to use handheld android devices and scanners
Ability to work in fast-paced environment and adapt to changing conditions
Ability to work on feet for 8+ hours a day
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
Ability to use PCs for basic functions (e.g., using web browser, checking email)
Preferred:
Current or previous Labcorp experience is preferred.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional environment. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, safety box cutters. Additionally, this role makes use of Android handheld devices and PCs to operate WMS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
Lift/Carry boxes weighing up to 70 lbs.

Pay Range: $15 - 22/hr
