Job Summary: The Materials Coordinator plays a vital role in managing the materials and supplies necessary for an organization's operations. This includes procurement, inventory control, distribution, and ensuring that materials are readily available when needed to support efficient and uninterrupted workflow.
Pay Range: $20.00/hour - $32.00/hour
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain an accurate inventory of materials, tracking stock levels and usage. Physically receive and verify deliveries, including counting and inspecting materials to ensure they meet quality standards Track and document all deliveries, maintaining accurate records Enter material orders and receipt information into the company's inventory management system Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any discrepancies in deliveries Ensure materials are stored properly and available for projects as needed Coordinate the distribution process to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials. Monitor material consumption and request reorders as needed. Maintain detailed records of material transactions, including receipts, issuances, and returns. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in handling and storing materials. Ensure compliance with regulations, including hazardous material handling and disposal requirements. Other duties as assigned.
