Position Overview:
As part of the talented Mercury Marine Plant 103 team, you will focus on determining the proper packaging to assemble a finish good part. This role would be responsible for finding the most fitting materials to ensure part integrity for packaging and shipping. In addition, you would be responsible for setting up the part specifications into PIMS, and WMA. It is necessary that this person have an eye for detail and be extremely organized.

+ Organize and distribute transactional information such as part attributes, packaging requirements, and knowledge of the Bill of Materials.
+ Set up each part for the most efficient product flow.
+ Set up labels into label database.
+ Create work instructions/subassemblies in EQMS.
+ Understand individual asset types.
+ Troubleshoot packaging/BOM issues.
+ Work with other divisions of the business such as Bill of Material group, Country of Origin team, Planning Analysts, Packaging Engineer.

Required Qualifications:
+ Associate degree minimum, bachelor’s degree preferred.
+ Strong interpersonal, and cross functional/team collaboration.
+ Good organization skills with strong attention to detail.
+ Requires good judgment, positive attitude, and possess the ability to learn new jobs and computer programs.
+ Strong PC skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
+ Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and be highly motivated to find solutions, prioritize tasks and communicate clearly with others.
+ The position will require the ability to communicate and comprehend information both verbal and written so others will understand. Proficiency in English both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ 0-3 years of experience in distribution administration or related field preferred.
+ Bachelor’s degree preferred.
+ Knowledge of the Kitting process preferred.
+ Detailed experience working with warehouse management systems including Manhattan WMA, Oracle, PIM, EQMS, Autolabel, Integration Point.

+ The position will require sitting, standing, and walking in both an office and warehouse environment.
+ The position may require moving totes/boxes weighing up to 50 pounds, twisting, bending, climbing, grasping, and other repetitive movements.
+ The position will require on-site support between normal work hours Monday - Friday which occasionally could encompass some 2nd shift work, and weekend work as operational needs dictate.
