The Materials Data & System Analyst is an expert on system processes and programs in one or more functional areas with a focus on materials management to improve current business systems or/and processes of the company to keep it up working under excellent business conditions and delivery time. Assures that the plant's SLA's objectives are visual and simplify to all the organization with the integration of the actual systems used in the company.
Execution:
• Analyzing processes and methods used in existing systems
• Proposing modifications or new systems to meet user needs
• Creating tests and developing specifications for developers and programmers
•Manage and optimize of global costs : co-negotiation with suppliers ( with global purchasing)
• Collect and compile data from various sources, including SAP and Oracle
• Analyze large datasets using statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns and insights
• Brainstorming new ways to add more functionality to systems
• Developed visualizations, charts, and graphs to present data findings in a clear and concise manner
- Conduct data cleansing and validation to ensure accuracy and integrity of information.
- Generate routine and ad-hoc reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
Improvement Strategy:
• Monitor and evaluate forecast accuracy and recommend adjustments to improve demand planning accuracy
• Integrate customer orders and required delivery dates into the backlog.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement initiatives and track the effectiveness
• Responsible of testing the system on a regular basis to ensure quality and function
- Map and document interfaces between legacy and new systems
- Support users on change control and systems updates
- Provide training and user manual to users of a new systems
- Carry out risk analysis and plan how to mitigate any risks to IT systems
