To learn more about our brand, please visit www.buehler.com. + Assist Materials Engineers with testing of consumable products + Prepare metallurgical specimens + Write reports on findings of materials testing + Assist materials engineers with metallurgical materials testing and customer service + Follow ISO test procedures where applicable for new product development testing and QA work + Perform materials testing and customer assistance in accordance with requirements as outlined by materials engineers + Additional duties and tasks as assigned + Junior or Senior status students pursuing an undergraduate degree in Materials Science or Material Engineering + Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary. + Experience with light microscopic examination of metallurgical specimens. + Some laboratory experience preferred + Experience with scientific report writing preferred Buehler is located in Lake Bluff, IL, and falls within TW's Test and Measurement Segment.
