As a Materials Engineer I here at Honeywell, you will develop and advance materials that are integral to our products. \nYou will report directly to our Senior Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Aguadilla, Puerto Rico location.
\nBe part of a team that applies its expertise and knowledge to established set of tools aimed at evaluating materials to identify the presence and extent of prohibited or hazardous substances used in hardware manufactured by Honeywell. You will review designs to ensure material and processes meet customers’ need, product quality and new product development, and may serve a Material Engineering focal role for some development projects. You will perform standard work to support product compliance analysis for legacy and/or new products such as (but not limited to) Hazardous Material Analysis. In addition, you may apply expertise to support materials and processes issues and potential failure analyses.
