We are looking for a Materials Handler to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Warehouse Supervisor and based in Newark, DE. This is a fully on-site role.

The Materials Handler is subject to department transfers based on production demand.
Role and Responsibilities:
Verify the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveriesLabel every product and place accordingly in stockIdentify and locate the parts and materials during the delivery processMaintain and update account of stock and inventoryCompletes technical documentation on all returnsConduct regular preventative maintenance on material handling equipment Coordinate with the Purchasing Department for inventory levels and suggest orders when in short supplyCollaborate with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries, and replace damaged productsMove waste from manufacturing floor and warehouse areas to required disposal locations Perform and report cycle countsPerform accurate Oracle transactions for all inbound/outbound materialsAssist in the development of warehouse procedures to create the most efficient processesProvide on-the-job training to new employees utilizing standard job instructionsFollow standard operating procedures inclusive of standard job instructions and required PPEMaintain and implement general housekeeping/5S in warehouse and yard areasPerform other duties as requiredSkills and Experience:
High school or equivalency diploma requiredPrior warehouse and manufacturing experienced preferredExperience and certification in forklift operation preferredBasic computer skillsPreferred experience with OracleBasic mathematical skillsBasic hand tool experienceKnowledge of operating warehouse equipment and Lean Manufacturing systemsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalExcellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines.Ability to work effectively with all levels within the organizationStrong interpersonal skills and proven ability to establish effective cross-functional working relationshipsThorough understanding of products and equipment used in manufacturing preferredPhysical Requirements:
