In return for hard work and dedication, our goal is to provide a safe, productive, and enjoyable workplace for every employee. **FLSA Status:** Non-exempt **Summary:** **Receives, stores, and moves materials and product in addition to performing the following duties:** + Acts as a Material Handler and Stocker. + Unloads trucks using forklift + Moves materials to proper storage locations + Moves material to appropriate production locations as needed and directed + Loads and unloads materials on or off pallets, racks and/or shelves + Follows appropriate loading and unloading procedures + Is the first point of contact for production material requests + Reports any shortages and/or damages to Head Receiver + Enforces and implements all receiving and security procedures and policies + Follows instructions from Materials Manager and Head Receiver + Can effectively communicate with other Material Handlers and Stockers + Ensures/delegates housekeeping duties are met daily. + Follows all company Safety procedures **Education and/or Experience:** One-year certificate from college or technical school; or 6-12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent **OR** at least six months of related experience/training + Must have Forklift Certification or be able to pass certification + Ability to read a tape measure + Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift/move up to 50 lbs. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** + Performs all manual labor in the area to which assigned + Keeps area neat and clean + Reads and use a tape measure + Reads blueprints and orders + Communicates well with coworkers + Uses hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools + Other duties may be assigned. **Work Schedule:** The typical schedule for this position is **6:30 am - 3:00 pm, Monday-Friday** .
