Job Description:
The Material Handler supports the manufacturing and wrapping departments and the key job responsibility is to ensure the timely order/ supply of all required RAWS and PACKS are available to meet production requirements. Material Handlers are accountable for maintaining accurate inventory levels, adjustments, cycle counts and variance investigations whilst following all company processes / procedures.
What are we looking for?Forklift license essential.Problem solving skills – Ability to investigate inventory usage variance and identify process losses.Computer Skills – Experience in the use of Warehouse Management programs (SAP preferred).Ability to be a part of a cross functional team working and liaising with numerous other positions across the business.Able to plan work, show initiative and work without supervisionCan investigate, resolve complex problems and identify key production losses.What will be your key responsibilities?Ensure all inventory is ordered through SAP system to meet shop order requirements.Liaise and work closely with the procurement/production planning team to ensure inventory is available for production on time and in full and will raise any issues as required.Ensure all PACKS/RAWS are supplied to the necessary production departments in a timely manner and that all inventory meets company quality standards.Carry out Flavour Changes as required following Flavour Change Procedures.Count, adjust, cycle count and investigate inventory variances in a timely basis to ensure correct stock levels are maintained at all times.Process required transactions using SAP including but not limited to backflushing of WIP’s, waste, trim etc.Maintain GMP and Hygiene Standards. This includes but not limited to Department Cleaning Schedules. “Clean as we go”. Personal GMP Requirements.
