(https://hr.uw.edu/benefits/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2018/04/benefits-summary-classified-staff-less-than-half-time-4787-20250130-a11y.pdf)** **UW Medical Center-Northwest - Supply Chain Management** has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time **Materials Handling Aide 2** . **WORK SCHEDULE** + 100% FTE + Monday – Friday + Day Shift **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION** **UW Medicine Supply Chain Management** enhances our patient care experience by delivering a robust foundation of services, operational and technical support, and the sharing of comprehensive, relevant, and highly specialized supply chain management expertise. **POSITION HIGHLIGHTS** + Maintain an appropriate level of general, medical, and surgical supplies throughout the facility by utilizing effective stocking procedures + This position reports to the local Supply Chain Materials & Logistics Supervisor/Manager + Support patient care at this 281-bed, community-based nonprofit hospital in North Seattle **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** + Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining adequate stock and distributing general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment throughout the hospital + Manage rental equipment using Supply Chain point-of-use (POU) systems + Use tech like handhelds, package scanners, and Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS) to ensure proper inventory and cost allocations **REQUIREMENTS** + High school graduation or equivalent **ABOUT UW MEDICAL CENTER-NORTHWEST** UW Medical Center is an acute care hospital located in Seattle with two campuses: Montlake and Northwest.
