Job Summary:
Perform daily warehouse activities including weekly review of reservations, stock and nonstock inventory not currently planned for replenishment to be requested from Central warehouse or procured as necessary; unload, verify, receive and enter deliveries, meters, pipe and orders; inventory management, daily cycle count, pick, issue and return materials; preparation and online processing of material requisitions, releases, receiving and source documents; loading pipe and other materials; operation and maintenance check of forklift and other material handling equipment; overall organization of warehouses and pipe yards including clear labeling of material ID numbers and batch materials; receipt, tracking and handling of returned haz-mat materials. Primary coverage of Williamsport Warehouse Location.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform daily warehouse activities, including: unload, verify and receive deliveries, meters, pipe and orders either direct shipped or received from central warehouse; pick and issue materials; loading pipe and other materials issued out; operation and maintenance check of forklift and other material handling equipment; checking, receiving and entering materials returned to warehouse. Assist other areas as requested. Complete forklift certification/recertification as necessary. Receive and maintain items returned for Haz-mat storage area; maintain appropriate documentation; complete certification/recertification as necessary. Inventory weekly review of reservations, warehouse stock/nonstock materials not currently planned to request from central warehouse or order as necessary; work with Operations and Engineering to ensure proper materials and quantities, need by date and deliveries. Prepare and process material requisitions, releases and receiving documents; accurately enter material issue, return, and transfer sheets within inventory management software; batch and file daily. Report any low or stock out items for ordering or on hand count verification. Proper disposition of batch, expired or damaged material. Complete daily cycle counts, including generating and printing of count sheets, entering physical counts, assisting supervisor in researching & resolution of discrepancies. May maintain fuel transactions and order as necessary. Responsible for overall organization of warehouses and pipe yards including clear labeling of material ID numbers and materials pulled or staged for specific projects. Return excess inventory and coordinate or return to Central warehouse.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Available for after hour/weekend callout, ability to cover and travel to area locations across Pennsylvania Organizational and problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail Ability to work in a team environment and collaborative efforts Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and pivot tables; inventory management software experience preferred Shipping/freight knowledge preferred
Education and Experience Required:
High school diploma: Associate degree, Business preferred Business, warehouse, inventory, supply chain experience preferred (3-5 years) Forklift and Hazardous Material Handling
