Materials Management Coordinator

**Job Summary**
The Materials Management Coordinator is responsible for supporting supply chain operations by managing inventory, tracking supplies, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining accurate records. This role ensures that materials are available as needed to support organizational operations while adhering to budgetary and operational standards. The Materials Management Coordinator collaborates with internal departments and external vendors to streamline processes and ensure efficiency.
**Essential Functions**
+ Monitors inventory levels to ensure optimal stock and initiates replenishment orders as needed.
+ Coordinates the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies across designated departments.
+ Tracks and documents the movement of inventory to maintain accurate records and compliance with organizational policies.
+ Communicates with vendors to resolve delivery issues, discrepancies, or delays and ensures timely procurement of materials.
+ Assists in preparing reports on inventory usage, stock levels, and supply costs to support decision-making and budget management.
+ Ensures compliance with safety standards, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements related to materials management.
+ Supports cost-control initiatives by identifying opportunities to minimize waste and optimize supply usage.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ Complies with all policies and standards.
**Qualifications**
+ H.S. Diploma or GED required
+ Associate Degree or higher in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred
+ 0-2 years of experience in inventory or materials management, logistics, or a similar role required
+ 1-2 years of experience with a procurement system preferred
**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**
+ Strong organizational and time-management skills.
+ Ability to analyze inventory data and generate actionable insights.
+ Proficient in inventory management systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant software.
+ Effective communication and collaboration skills.
+ Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
