This position is responsible for the materials management department and associated operations, staffing, training, budget, policies and performance; champion’s implementation of corporate directed Supply Chain initiatives; and communicates recommendations and opportunities to the Chief Financial Officer and other hospital executives as required. The director collaborates with department directors and hospital leadership on initiatives that support care delivery in a cost effective manner that meets the clinical, operational and quality patient care needs of the hospital. **The value you’ll bring to the team:** · Manages the day to day operations of the Materials Management department and associated functions · Works collaboratively with AHS Supply Chain /Shared Services to ensure open communication and issue resolution with the local facility. · Develops and manages department budgets for all assigned departments · Responsible for leadership and achievement of organizational supply chain financial and process improvement targets. · Manages vendor relations assuring compliance to corporates/hospital policies Qualifications **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed** **:** · Bachelor’s Degree or > 10 years’ experience working in a materials management department · 3 to 5 years experience working in a materials management department This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
