As a Materials Management Workleader, you are integral to helping facilitate Cleveland Clinic's mission of providing state-of-the-art healthcare. You will serve as the work leader while performing various duties to support the department. You will also coordinate resources for daily assignments and work schedules.
**A caregiver in this position works varying shifts from 7:00AM - 4:00PM and 6:00AM - 2:00PM.**
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
+ Coordinate work schedules to provide coverage for employee paid time off and key activities.
+ Departmental workflow and desk coverage for an assigned area.
+ Supervise the department functioning and resources in the absence of the manager.
+ Manage inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels of products.
+ Meets inventory goals by managing tracking systems and acting as liaison to other departments.
+ Analyze data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.
+ Monitor all areas to ensure product is being rotated first-in, first-out and expiring product is removed in a timely manner.
+ Count and verify products in inventory and report discrepancies to upper management as necessary.
+ Administer return shipments of products in case of any shortages and damages and communicate same to vendor.
+ Participate on project teams to build competency, provide training, recommend improved processes and maintain documented processes and procedures.
+ Assist the Site Manager/Supervisor with dashboard maintenance and compliance.
+ Functions as a super user with regard to all SCM systems.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ High School Diploma / GED or equivalent
+ Three years of experience in materials management, inventory operations or similar role
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
+ Previous leadership or experience providing work direction
+ Strong computer skills and experience with inventory tracking systems

**Physical Requirements:**
+ A high degree of dexterity
+ Normal or corrected vision
