This position will provide procurement support and storeroom direction to the Millport, AL Lumber manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for coordinating the flow of all materials and services necessary to meet the facilities’ production and operating needs. The successful candidate is an experienced individual who is highly motivated, a self-starter and capable of working without direct supervision. Procurement activities include purchasing of all materials and services and looking for creative ways to reduce cost. Assists with capital equipment purchases.
This position will direct and lead the mill storeroom clerk, control and maintain inventory levels and streamline material management processes.

You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours
