Materials Manager
**Job Description** This selected candidate will act as the Material Acquisition Support (MAS) Lead, supporting Special Communications Mission Solutions (SCMS) in St. Inigoes, MD. Will plan, schedule, and manage the procurement of material and equipment for numerous projects and will work with project managers and customers to develop material scheduling requirements, based on production schedules. Will also lead the Material Acquisition Support (MAS) team, delegate the workload, monitor efforts, attend project meetings, and respond to customer requirements. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Review material lists, and plan procurement efforts. - Work with project managers to prioritize the workload. - Review procurement status reports and purchase card expense reports. - Attend project meetings, and provide procurement status to stakeholders. - Review supplier quality and on-time delivery metrics. - Monitor workload, procurement through receipt and delivery, are processed accurately and rapidly. This position is located in scenic and historic Southern Maryland in the St. Mary's County Technology Corridor adjacent to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. There is no monetary relocation assistance budgeted for this position. Applicants must be currently residing in or state willingness to relocate self to St. Mary's County, Maryland or surrounding areas. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** Associate degree and at least ten years of related experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to identify and resolve conflict Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies Experience developing and updating Master Equipment Lists (MEL) and Master Parts Lists (MPL) **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** Familiar with SCMS applications **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $99410 - $168997 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
