Materials Manager
Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Materials Manager to join their team. As a Materials Manager, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Logistics Team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent analytical abilities, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Materials Manager **Location:** Conway, Arkansas **Pay Range:** $100,000 - $120,000 **What's the Job?** + Ensure optimum internal/external customer service by managing inventory control, shipping & receiving, and distribution. + Promote and maintain a safe work environment in accordance with Company Health & Safety Policies. + Supervise shipping, receiving, warehousing, and material control functions. + Manage inventory levels to meet company objectives and ensure accuracy of perpetual inventory records. + Provide training and motivation to team leaders and subordinates to maintain an efficient department. **What's Needed?** + High School diploma required; Post-Secondary Education in Purchasing, MRP & Materials Management desired. + 5+ years of experience in Materials Management. + 3 years of experience in Purchasing/Buying. + Knowledge of MRP (SAP) is essential. + Experience in the steel and automotive industries is an asset. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to lead and develop a talented team. + Engagement in a dynamic and innovative work environment. + Chance to contribute to the overall company Cost Reduction Program. + Professional growth and development opportunities. + Be part of a company committed to safety and quality standards.
