What You Will Do:

We have a unique opportunity for a talented Materials Manager to be based in Middletown, CT. The Compression Systems Module Center (CSMC) organization has an open position responsible designing and implementing automated tools to the aid the business in day to day operations.

Key responsibilities include:

Conceptualizing design, development and delivery of automated database solutions to support business needs for Cold Section.Success will be measured by developing strategies and solutions that allow and executing goals and objectives to meet capacity requirements, inventory controls, cost reduction objectives, on time delivery, and control tower measures.The individual will be working directly with Cold Section administration, materials, operations, quality and engineering organizations as well as the internal manufacturing groups to redefine processes execute on business requirements and deliver to customer expectations.Standardize/automate methods and tools across all units for managing starts, WIP, Inventory, and Delivery.Create automated customer centric dashboards to create transparency to allow for easy identification to changes in status and risk identification.Establish constraint / shared services mechanisms to understand plans, performance, and gaps to customer needs.Automate Line of Balances for critical parts and then move to all parts across the mod center.Manage the Spares Delivery Assurance process in collaboration with materials and Operations teams.

Qualifications You Must Have:

BS/BA degree with + years of experience required.U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contracts.

Qualifications We Prefer:

Understands complex data structure in back end systems for advanced reporting capabilities consumed by end users.Ability to write code and program across multiple application, Power Bi,  SSRS, SQL and Ignition .Candidates should possess experience with ERP systems, programming and relational databases, business process automation and project management, including team facilitation.Candidates must have excellent communication, organizational and time management skills and an overall strong business process data focus with an attention to detail.They must be able to work within cross-functional teams to meet and improve upon established business intelligence tools and systems.Cold Section is seeking and individual with an excellent data management skillset that supports data automation and information strategies related to material flow and performance.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
