**POSITION PURPOSE**
The Lead Materials Management Tech is responsible for all aspects of the distribution functions including preparing
supplies for distribution from general stores inventory, maintaining aseptic environment in the patient equipment
decontamination area and clean equipment storage areas, properly cleaning and issuing patient use equipment,
reviewing expiration dates on par level carts and areas, reviewing expiration dates on supplies in the general storeroom,
assembling, batching and keying patient charges, meeting all infection control standards, picking and delivering supplies
ordered by departments, counting and restocking par cart areas, placing charge stickers on patient chargeable supply
items. The Lead Materials Management Tech assist with putting the warehouse supplies on the shelves daily. The
Lead Materials Management Tech works closely with the Director of Materials Management, Materials Management
Supervisor and Receiving Clerk, as well as other department managers, staff and Administration.
**POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:**
**Education:**
High school diploma or GED preferred
**Experience:**
Two years of related work experience including 1 year of clerical and 1 year of dealing with the public. Warehousing experience
preferred. Hospital supply knowledge preferred.
**Working Conditions:**
Office and warehouse environment
