Job Description Summary:

Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (EST)

As the Materials Planner Lead, you will be responsible for the following plans, schedules and monitors inbound movement of raw materials and ingredients from suppliers. Determines material and ingredient requirements. Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with production. Handles procurement activities related to acquisition of materials and ingredients from selected suppliers. Coordinates with transportation to ensure efficient, effective delivery of materials. Develops specifications for new contract orders.


CAREER LEVEL C
Applies advanced knowledge of the processes and procedures within own discipline. Considered a subject matter expert level. Capabilities are typically gained through a combination of job-related training and considerable work experience. Works autonomously within established procedures and guidelines and performs the most challenging and non-routine tasks. May serve as a resource when new procedures and guidelines are being established. May act as a Lead for other employees within the job progression (as needed), coordinating the work of others, but is not a formal supervisor. Progression to this level is limited based on employee capability and organizational need. This is the Lead level for the few go-to employees seen as subject matter experts by supervisors and their colleagues.

$52,416 - $64,064
