Job Description:

About the Role: Ensure that production supplies are purchased and received according to product specifications in a timely manner to meet the production schedule. 

Job duties include, but are not limited to: 

Develop and maintain material planning assumptions in conjunction with purchasing, planning, operations, logistics/warehousing and commercial teams, including safety stocks, lead times, order quantities, and lots sizing.Execute MRP for materials and issue purchase orders to ensure material availability for OperationsReview and assist in resolving invoicing discrepancies in SAP via either MRBR or VIMMonitor supply plans to identify changes and to determine their effect on material requirements schedules.Report on back orders, short stock, excess items and slow-moving inventory to the parties concerned, while developing solutions with suppliers and internal resources.Analyze supplier performance, inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste or optimize customer service.Attend the Daily Production Communication meeting to understand daily changes and help with issue resolutionManages transition of components related to reformulations, redesigns, new product introductions, and item discontinuation.Work cross-functionally with Sales, Business Units, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Procurement and Operations to ensure cross-functional alignment and meet company objectives.

 

You’ll fit right in if you have: 

•    Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Statistics, Operations Research, or related field preferred
•    Minimum 2 years supply chain, production scheduling, material planning, inventory, or operations experience
•    Experience with an ERP system; knowledge of SAP preferred
•    Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required (V-Look Up, Pivot Tables) 
•    Intermediate PowerBI skillset preferred
