Job Title: Materials Planner
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Materials Planner to manage our daily, weekly, and monthly build schedules, ensuring customer Requests Kept (RK) and Promises Kept (PK) are consistently met. The ideal candidate will review and manage safety stock levels, collaborate with various teams, and ensure timely updates of item data to support appropriate stock levels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Materials Planning: Develop and execute materials planning and delivery schedules.
+ Inventory Management: Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand for materials, and maintain optimal inventory levels.
+ Coordination: Work closely with the production team to understand materials needs and timelines, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
+ Supply Chain Management: Analyze and assess demand and supply trends to prevent delays in production, and resolve issues regarding shipped materials.
+ Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of equivalent related experience.
+ 5+ years' experience in a people management role.
+ Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma within 3 years.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
+ Positive 'can do' attitude, professional demeanor, performance-oriented, and strong customer focus.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree preferred.
Work Environment
This role is held is in Racine County, Wisconsin. Candidates must be local and will not require relocation. The majority of time is spent in a manufacturing production environment with some climate-controlled areas. Personal protective safety equipment must be worn, and proper safety precautions must be observed. Potential exposure may include solvents, dust, noise, heat, outside weather conditions, cramped spaces, and building construction areas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $37.50 - $43.27
