As a Material Planner Intern, you will support our supply chain and materials management team by assisting in the planning and coordination of materials required for production. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in material planning and supply chain management within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: + PFEP (Plan for Every Part) 2.0 with data mining and C-P30 (Building C parts to 30 Days of Supply Globally) + Development and implementation of the material planning processes and procedures to execute/sustain. + Monitor inventory levels and ensure part strategy application is effective to meet production schedules. + Collaborate with suppliers to implement stocking level and replenishment strategy + Study material shortages, backlogs, and other supply chain issues to inform PFEP boundaries + Participate in regular meetings with the production and procurement teams to align on material needs and priorities and ssist with data analysis to improve planning responsiveness. + Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the materials management function. The essential requirements of the job include: + Currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. + Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Basic understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles is a plus.
