Materials Planner-Shipping/Receiving
**Job Title: Materials Planner - Shipping/Receiving** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Materials Planner II responsible for ensuring the integrity of the stockroom inventory. This role includes conducting cycle counts, managing material transactions, kitting work order material, entering and closing sales orders, and processing shipments in the ERP system. **Responsibilities** + Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory. + Investigate and reconcile cycle count variances. + Transact all daily material issues within the MRP/ERP system. + Kit material for internal work orders, CM consignment orders, and CM turn-key orders. + Enter sales orders into the MRP/ERP system. + Generate customer sales order acknowledgements. + Generate work orders in the ERP system and complete work orders for assemblies to fulfill customer sales orders. + Review customer purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy. + Coordinate freight providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments. + Process all factory shipments to global end customers in the ERP system. + Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent desired. + Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping. + Experience in the electronics field highly preferred. + Oracle experience is required. + Knowledge of ERP systems - Oracle. + Basic computer skills with MS Office, Outlook, Excel, and Word. + Automated inventory experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + One to two years of occupationally specific training beyond high school or an Associate Degree. + Minimum of five years of work-related experience. + Proficiency with MS Office Suite. + Proven work experience as a Material Planner or similar role in a production department with a minimum of three years' experience working with MRP systems. + Familiarity with electronic components. + Oracle proficiency will be tested. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic team where your contributions are valued, and your professional growth is supported. The dress code includes closed-toed shoes and jeans. The role involves regular use of a keyboard to interact with the computer system, sitting for extended periods, proofreading and reviewing documents, and verbal communication.
