Our client, a leader in autonomous vehicles, is seeking a Materials Production Planner to join their team. As a Materials Production Planner, you will be part of the Manufacturing Operations Logistics Planning team supporting the execution of material procurement and build activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Materials Production Planner
**Location: Hayward, CA**
**Pay Range:** $50-56/h + Benefits
**What's the Job?**
+ Create, maintain, and close production orders in our SAP S4 Hana ERP system, ensuring accurate due dates and updates to customer requests.
+ Design, execute, and monitor attainment to the Vehicle Build Plan.
+ Create and release Work Orders needed to support the Manufacturing line and non-vehicle demand.
+ Communicate with internal customers about the status of all open demand.
+ Coordinate with Supply Planning teams to identify and mitigate potential shortages and prevent line stoppages.
**What's Needed?**
+ Direct Production Planning or Master Scheduling experience in a fast-paced NPI environment.
+ Ability to pull data and format reports and/or tables to drive analysis and execution.
+ Knowledge of inventory management practices and analysis.
+ Experience working with ERP/MRP software applications (SAP S4, Oracle, etc.).
+ Associate or B.S. degree in a related field (Business, Engineering, Finance, etc.).
