Job Summary: As a Materials Project Coordinator you will work with the Materials Project group to develop and execute plans for receiving, storing, and delivering material to the production lines. You will take lead on the set-up of new items on the factory floor, plan material delivery methods, develop new carts/storage methods, and create visual management systems to ensure part availability on the production lines. You will work closely with other departments to identify and solve material delivery problem. Responsibilities: Lead Kanban set up, calculation, and execution to ensure part availability Assist with Kanban database maintenance and execution internal and external Develop solutions for delivery of required parts to and from production areas (WHM, Supermarket, Tugger delivery routes) Work closely with replenishment material flow and inventory control teams to identify and solve recurring material problems Implement visual management systems (5S, standard work, WMS locations, etc.) in support of assigned change management projects Assist in supplier set ups and transitions Create and coach standard work to improve all aspects of the materials organization Assist in all material flow needs that arise Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Problem Solving: Uses data analysis and excellent processes to help predict problem areas, identify areas of opportunity, and update standard work. Innovation: Proven history of identifying process issues and making improvements on the shop floor Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office such as Access, Excel, and Outlook (High proficiency excel skills such as VLOOKUP’s and other intermediate excel knowledge preferred, experience with Oracle and Apriso preferred) Communication: Strong written, oral communication, and presentation skills Reliability: Have a positive attendance history with less than 3 unplanned absences in the last 12 months. Teamwork: Must have the ability to work with different departments and individuals outside the materials group to advance projects and progress in the plant.

Other Requirements:
Must have a valid SC driver’s license and acquire a PIV license for sit down/stand up lift, Yard Dog spotter truck, and golf cart.
