Atlantic Health is looking for a dynamic and detail oriented Full Time Materials Representative for the Atlantic Distribution Center (ADC) located in East Hanover, NJ. The ideal candidate will have experience in picking, packing, shipping and providing logistical services to Atlantic Health System in our Atlantic Distribution Center. The shifts for this position will be M, T, F - 1p-9p and Saturday and Sunday from 10a-6p, and is accompanied by a robust compensation package that includes medical insurance, Paid Time Off, tuition advancement, work-life alignment, and more. 


Principal Accountabilities of all Materials Representatives at the Atlantic Distribution Center:

1. Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies. 
2. Counts, weighs or measures incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying information and variety against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records. 
3. Examines incoming/outgoing shipments for damage or shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify. 
4. Completes paperwork or forms required for documentation. 
5. Determines method of picking, packing and shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates. 
6. Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage. 
7. Performs work under direct supervision and handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
8. Performs other related duties as assigned.
