Materials Requirement Planner Job Number: 355201 Category: General Production Support Description: Job Title: Materials Requirement Planner Location: Cary, NC Zip Code: ​​27513​ Start Date: Right Away Job Type: Contract Pay Rate: Up to $45.00/hr DoE Keywords: #MaterialsPlannerJobs #Hybridjobs #ManufacturingJobs JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * ​​Monitor domestic and international active ingredient, raw material and packaging material purchase orders for Environmental Science locations based on ERP production plans/released requisitions. * Review production plan with designated External Manufacturing Production Planner to ensure the delivery schedule for raw materials, packaging and intermediates meet production demands. * Monitor/maintain Goods Receipt Alerts in ERP to identify purchase orders that are past due or require a manual close due to delivered quantity being less than quantity ordered. * Work closely with Strategic Procurement to ensure Outline Agreements are set up correctly. * Collaborate with local and regional Master Data Specialists in maintenance of Procurement Master Data (Material and Vendor Masters, Info Records and Source List) to assure accuracy of lead time, order quantity, safety stock, supplier address, etc. for raw and packaging materials. * Monitor supplier performance related to customer service, on-time deliveries, material quality, etc. to assure that the supplier meets or exceeds expectations. *Re solve 3rd Party AI, Raw Material and Packaging complaints at external manufacturing sites (with assistance of Quality & Procurement). * Report any issues to the Strategic Buyer for investigation. * Verify supplier invoices in ERP. * Expedite raw material orders as needed to support production schedule REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Must be a U.S. Person (Perm Res/Green Card) * Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related business function * 5+ years of relevant experience * Must have basic knowledge in the following disciplines supply chain: - Demand planning - Finance - Project management. - Production processes * Strong planning background * ERP experience * Microsoft Office - Microsoft Excel skills (formulations) * Dynamics 365 If you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
