What you will do:

Assists in providing materials management support for delivery operationsEvaluates and processes material requisitions and reservations, to ensure material and required documentation are available when neededAnalyzes material usage patterns for planned and stocked items, to ensure cost effective and adequate materials are available in a timely mannerAssists in resolving supply chain issuesAssists in planning and implementation of sourcing initiativesDevelops supplier and service networkAnalyzes surplus and obsolete materials, and acts to minimize stocking levels

Who you are:

You have:

4-6 years of related work experience along with a bachelor’s degree. A combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of a bachelor’s degreeKnowledge of materials management, procurement processes, and inventory controlA valid driver’s license that will be verified upon hire

You can:

Show knowledge of client groups, commodities, and specialties in addition to environmental, government, legal and regulatory requirementsOffer knowledge of inventory analysis techniques in addition to being an effective problem solver with analytical and organizational skills

You are:

An excellent written and verbal communicator with strong presentation skillsAble to process information quickly and accurately while managing contenting priorities to meet deadlinesProficient with a computer and can complete basic forecasting and trend analysis along with value and cost analysis  

The following are considered assets:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing

Working Conditions:

Work performed in the field within confined spaces while being exposed to fumes, heat and loud noises

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
