**Job Title: Materials Supervisor** **Job Description** We are a glass manufacturer for the commercial industry, specializing in customized glass cutting. Our projects include skyscrapers and glass towers in Los Angeles, Washington DC, Seattle, and Dallas. As a Materials Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day activities of managing inventory and materials supply to meet the demands of the production schedule. **Responsibilities** + Enforce and comply with the company's health and safety policies and procedures. + Oversee receiving and inspection of materials. + Manage timely distribution of work in accordance with the production/picking schedule. + Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, and directed. + Responsible for cycle counts and overall spreadsheet accuracy. + Manage inventory accuracy; identify root causes for inaccuracies and establish corrective actions/plans to eliminate future issues. + Schedule and manage employees in a manner that promotes productivity and efficiency to meet departmental goals and targets. + Participate in selecting and hiring employees, as well as coaching and motivating. + Be highly visible to employees and create a safe environment for participation. Promote hands-on, high involvement approaches to problem-solving in a timely manner. **Essential Skills** + Degree in logistics, business administration, or equivalent experience. + Proven work experience in a manufacturing environment. + Proficient in Microsoft Office. + 2-5 years of quality technician experience in a manufacturing or machine shop industry (glass manufacturing is a plus). + Problem-solving, critical thinking, and leadership qualities. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Management/lead experience (nice to have). + Forklift certification (nice to have). + Experience with SAP, inventory management, project management, and material planning. **Why Work Here?** We offer full, amazing benefits with 100% coverage for employees. Shift is 7:00AM - 5:00PM Monday to Friday Salary is $75,000 to $95,000 depending on experience. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
