Material Technician in the heart of innovation of Flanders

Become a Material Technician/Scientist at Inpria, a subsidiary of JSR Corporation, and push the boundaries of EUV lithography. You work at IMEC, Leuven, Belgium, and will conduct experiments for analysis and characterization of cutting-edge metal oxide photoresist films under the direction of experienced resist chemists. The job

* Coat, expose, and process resist films under controlled experimental conditions

* Execute a broad range of spectroscopic analysies (FTIR, UV-vis absorption, ellipsometry, mass spectrometry, etc.)

* Process, analyze and present data to support problem solving in a team setting

* Write and present experimental reports to build long-term institutional knowledge

* Write and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)

* Troubleshoot experimental problems and propose new ideas to tackle limitations in existing methods.

* Plan and execute experimental tasks in a multi-user research facilities (IMEC)

Who you are

* Professional with a Bachelor or Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or materials science

* Hands-on experience with material characterization techniques such as FTIR spectroscopy, UV-vis absorption spectroscopy, ellipsometry or others

* Team player able to thrive in a dynamic, face paced environment

* Familiar with software for data processing

* Lab and cleanroom experience or coding skills (Python, Matlab f.e.) are a plus
