Maternal Fetal Medicine, Assistant Professor Academic Clinician track

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Maternal Fetal Medicine. Candidates should be proficient in obstetrical ultrasound. Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Candidates must be board certified or active candidates for certification by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and subspecialty trained and board certified or active candidates for certification in maternal fetal medicine.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching and supervising medical students, Ob/Gyn residents and MFM fellows, and participation in formal curriculum.
Clinical responsibilities may include out-patient consultations for high risk obstetrical, maternal and fetal conditions, obstetrical ultrasound, antenatal testing, prenatal genetic diagnosis, as well as in-patient consultation and obstetrical care.
Successful candidates will join the established Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine with clinical programs at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Hospital, Chester County Hospital and a network of satellite practices in New Jersey. Candidates will participate in patient safety and quality initiatives.
