Maternity Cover - Project Delivery & Performance Manager - Resilience

Role description:

We have an opportunity for an experienced project professional to join or Operations team in Resilience. Reporting into the Business Unit Operations Director, you’ll have the responsibility to work across the whole business unit to ensure projects are operating effectively, on time & on budget, with a key eye on the financial profitability of any underperforming projects. 

You’ll have the opportunity to impact projects across a variety of disciplines, guiding teams through change & implementing best practice, the Arcadis Way.

Role accountabilities:

People, Promotion, Education:

Manage and support PM forums to promote best practices, continual improvement and promotion of systems. Conduct specific trainings to increase capability of the Project Management cohort conduct.  Participate in project reviews, providing recommendations and support to enhance project outcomes, often liaising with stakeholders such as Growth, Legal, Tech, Finance, Risk functions and intervene where necessary. Attend and contribute to monthly Key User meetings, ensuring updates are effectively communicated throughout the UK&I. 

Reporting, Technology, Dashboarding and Analytics:

Adopting data-driven decision-making, leveraging data to create and demonstrate value.  Publish and present regular metrics, reporting consistently & providing valuable insight, to support improvement in EBITA.  Analyse monthly data including GBA, BA, project and PM data to understand emerging trends and help in intervening where necessary.

Business Process Owner, Lead Transformation 

Assist in promotion and implementation of all process/procedures, including improvement initiatives, utilising various Project Management and Change Management methodologies to implement ecosystem changes. Provide feedback to Project Execution teams and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).  Oversee and manage internal and external project audits. 

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field. Proven experience in team leadership, performance reporting and implementing continuous improvement across Operations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyse data and present findings effectively to influence business decisions. Experience in auditing and compliance processes is a plus.
