What’s in it For You:
The Ecolab MBA Finance Internship Program allows students the opportunity to make an impact through a challenging, 10-week project in St. Paul, MN. Throughout the summer, interns will gain exposure to senior leaders, network across the organization and understand Ecolab’s businesses, career paths and culture through a variety of opportunities. Concluding your 10-week internship, interns provide senior management, project stakeholders, work teams and alumni with a professional presentation sharing the project overview, findings, and recommendations. Successful interns will be awarded a full-time offer designed for individuals that have the long-term potential to serve as functional leaders and general managers at Ecolab.
What You Will Do:
Your project as an intern is an internal or customer business need where you can make an impact and drive change and growth during your time. Past internship projects include topics such as: Pricing Strategy Implementation, Customer P&L Modeling, and Inventory Velocity Based Costing. Interns can expect to finish the summer with a realistic job preview of what the ‘day-in-the-life’ of an Ecolab associate looks like.
Successful interns will be awarded a full-time offer at the end of their internship as a Finance Manager at Ecolab. As a new MBA hire, you will be part of a high performing team that delivers business information, insights and focus to ensure that our company and associates achieve full potential. New MBA hires will also experience rewarding work experience, networking opportunities, training, and interactions with organizational leaders to help acclimate you to Ecolab.
Responsibilities Include:
· Advise the highest levels of Ecolab Management on corporate strategy, planning, and business unit performance.
· Analyze business unit trends driving performance.
· Develop processes and analytical models to identify and help manage the key strategic and business issues facing the division.
· Accounting, financial reporting and analysis, pricing, contract profitability and new product analysis.
· Oversee and manage the company’s capital structure, financial risk management, financial assets and debt portfolio.
· Financial reporting and analysis of raw materials, outbound logistics, manufacturing, inventory, cost accounting and capital projects analysis in a supply chain function
· Perform & support ad hoc financial analyses & participate on key business critical projects within Ecolab
Minimum Qualifications:
· An anticipated MBA graduation date of May/June 2026
· A concentration in Finance or similar.
· Four years of professional experience pre-MBA*.
*Prior Financial experience is preferred.

· Leadership and influencing skills with the ability to drive self, influence others and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
· Ambition to reach executive level management.
· Ability to translate financial analysis into insights and action plans.
· Project management skills with strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to succeed in a variety of roles and manage competing priorities.
· Ability to collaborate with multiple levels of management, functional areas, and external customers.
· Strong communication (written and verbal), organization and presentation skills.
