Description This is one of five team leadership roles within the Systems Engineering team part of the Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) Resource Management Area (RMA). The team lead: - Is the first line of leadership for all MBSE team members and reports to the SE Engineering Manager - Is responsible for maintaining accurate metrics of team progress - Supports all team staffing responsibilities, including interviewing new candidates, dealing with team performance issues, and supporting team member growth and development - Is also expected to be technically competent in all the work performed by the team such that they can acts a reviewer of product to ensure quality - Is responsible for leading iteration planning for the team The selected applicant will consume use cases, and systems engineering artifacts including definition of Epics and Features to implement customer requested capabilities. Support the development and review of interface documents, system requirements, Verification Cross Reference Matrix (VCRM) development, architectural documentation, system engineering estimates, and author and perform formal and informal engineering reviews. Position will also provide support to junior systems engineering team members to enhance skills in the department. - Must have the ability to be flexible to support various tasking on short notice - Work will be performed under the direction of various technical leads and product owners and require interfacing with team members, C2BMC management, and government customers to ensure high quality products are generated on time and within the resources available Additional responsibilities include: - Adhering to DOORS processes and procedures - Reviewing the content and details of technical products - Acting as a technical interface to MDA working level counterparts on an as-required basis - Be actively involved in the efforts associated with Agile development including iteration planning and status Other: This position will support the TO01 SE Task Instruction and Inc10 and beyond systems engineering needs on MBSE and general systems engineering.
