Maintain accurate records of inventory on a daily basis; manage all paperwork necessary to meet this goal. Coordinate the smooth flow of materials through supply chain on to the customer. Work closely with production line supervisors, schedulers, buyers and material handlers to avoid interruption in production line operations. Communicate with the production departments and materials management team in a timely and urgent manner. Recognize and solve problems.
Manage incoming calls and direct to appropriate department as required.
This is a full-time position where the candidate would report to the Batesville, IN location. The hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm.
What You'll Be Doing:Monitor and maintain stock status by verifying inventory accuracy through cycle counts, bay bin checks or audits; correctly analyze information. Perform and review cycle count adjustments as necessary.Working with Material Handlers, process calls from the production floor to direct raw materials in a timely manner. Provide feedback and follow-up regarding part shortages to the appropriate Production Planner (PP), Materials Management Specialist (MMS), and/or Supervisor.Conduct as necessary, any search to locate products within the system. Adjust records when there are discrepancies between actual raw materials, work in process, finished goods and system records. Identify root cause of discrepancies and take action to correct and prevent future re-occurrences. Coordinate with the other Material Control Analyst (MCA), MMS and Material Handlers to facilitate stock flow.Review “Produced Not Located” report, Haul Shortage, backlog of SJ's, negative inventory, restricted warehouse locations, pull systems, other inventory processes, key reports and metrics as required.Close various types of orders, close out shippers, enter tracking numbers into the system, and run various schedules as required. The estimated base salary for this position is $36,800 to $50,600 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
