Position Summary:

Processes materials into finished or semi-finished components by performing the following duties:

Essential Responsibilities:

Read work orders, formulas, and processing charts to determine specifications and sequence of operations

Weigh or measure specified ingredients and binding agents

Mix and grind material

Load and unload parts, monitor operation, and adjust controls of various processing machines and equipment and perform similar operations to prepare, combine, or change structure of materials to produce compositions with specific component properties

Clean materials as required prior to processing operations

Inspect, measure, and test components according to specifications

Enclose components in housings

Stamp or etch identifying information on finished component

Count, sort, and weigh processed items

Maintain manual or computerized records of productions and inspection date

Must Adhere to and follow all safety procedures, i.e. lock-out/tag-out, report safety concerns, use appropriate PPE as required, and follow similar safety practices

Must be responsible for meeting all quality assurance standards of the product

Qualifications/Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED

Willing and able to work overtime and any shift

Requires the ability to read, write, and speak the English language: interpret and follow written procedures, i.e. AWI (Aviation Work Instructions), etc., complete documentation, i.e. routers, etc., and follow verbal instructions

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, nationals of the United States, asylees and refugees) due to access to export-controlled technology.

Must pass physical, background, and drug screens

Desired Characteristics:

Minimum of 1 year of job related experience and/or training in a related manufacturing/production environment

Proven experience and willingness to be self-directed and identify improvement processes

Ability and willingness to work effectively with others in a team setting

Follow and promote safe work practices

Communicate effectively with others

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
